Tiles fetched from HTTP instead of HTTPS

The online map fetches the background OSM tiles from http instead of https.

This leads to a white background, if the HTTPS-Everywhere-Plugin is installed into Firefox.

Is it possible to change  the protocol from http the https? I think this is somewhere in the Javascript code but I don't have any idea how the online map works.
