Osmand and nautical maps

Hi!

Does anybody have experience with Osmand and nautical maps?
Since days I'm trying to create improved preprocessed maps for it and I try to improve the rendering style sheet as well -- but with not much success :(

It's poorly documented, no mailinglist, no dev contacts :(
